Visiting the website
When you visit, we process technical connection data, including your IP address, time, requested address and browser and device information. This is necessary to serve the website, detect errors and prevent attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and reliable operation.
Hosting and security
We use Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare services to deliver and protect this website. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Processing may take place outside the European Union. Information on Cloudflare's transfer mechanisms and data protection measures is available in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Enquiries by form and email
When you contact us, we process your name, email address, preferred model and message to answer your enquiry. Details are required insofar as needed for your request; we cannot reply without a contact address. Please do not include payment details or other sensitive information in free text.
The legal basis for contract-related enquiries is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We process other enquiries based on our legitimate interest in communication under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The contact form is served through Cloudflare Pages and forwards enquiries over an authenticated connection to our shop application on an Oracle Cloud VM in Frankfurt. From there, messages are sent to [email protected] through Resend, an email service operated by Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend). According to the provider, personal data may be transferred to and processed in the USA. The message is also forwarded to the destination mailbox; it may additionally be stored in our enquiry management system if enabled for this website. Information on processing, retention and transfers is available in the Resend privacy policy. Brief processing of the IP address in memory is used to prevent abuse.
Retention periods
We retain personal data for as long as needed to handle your request or perform the contract. It is then deleted unless legal retention obligations or legitimate reasons, such as defending legal claims, require further retention.
Statistics and local content
Our own page statistics count daily totals per page and product click. The statistics table does not store visitor profiles, IP addresses or visitor identifiers, and no analytics cookies are set. Processing serves to evaluate and improve our offering under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Fonts and embedded product videos are loaded directly from this website.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Contact [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you live or work.
Cart and checkout
Your product selection is held in your browser's local storage. Checkout stores a necessary session identifier as a protected cookie to associate your cart, details and return from payment. The cookie is valid for up to seven days. These functions serve the ordering process you request. Order and session data are processed in our shop application on an Oracle Cloud VM in Frankfurt; confidential session and payment associations are stored encrypted. The legal basis for contract performance is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Payment processing
We use Stripe for card payments. You enter your payment details on Stripe's payment page. Stripe receives the information necessary for the transaction, such as order amount, reference and contact address, and processes payment and technical data, including for fraud prevention. We receive payment status and transaction references, not your full card number. Further information is available in the Stripe privacy policy. The legal bases are contract performance under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. International service providers may transfer data outside the EU; the safeguards and data subject rights described there also apply.
Confirmation, shipping and withdrawal
For order confirmations and confirmation of an online withdrawal, we process the contract reference, name, email address and necessary contract details. Messages are sent through the email service named above. Shipping details are passed to the appointed parcel carrier insofar as necessary for delivery. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR. A withdrawal does not trigger an automatic refund; we handle it in accordance with statutory requirements.
